This course introduces learners to the fundamental principles and practical applications of workshop technology used in mechanical and technical fields. It focuses on developing essential skills in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop machinery. Learners will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes such as fitting, machining, welding, and fabrication while emphasizing safety, accuracy, and efficiency in workshop operations.
The course also covers material selection, maintenance of tools and equipment, and the importance of quality control in production. By the end of the course, learners will be able to interpret technical drawings, select appropriate tools, and apply standard workshop practices to produce and assemble mechanical components to specification.
